About Bihar Khadi

•Now, the production of Khadi was increasing rapidly and the Khadi institutions were facing the problem in promoting and marketing their product. They were selling their products in the regional markets and their respective sales outlets but that was not enough. The existing showroom of the Khadi Board was in desperate need of modernization in terms of modern infrastructure, trendy designs, interiors, visual merchandising, and many more. Most importantly there was a huge need for a marketplace to meet the huge demand of common people looking for authentic Khadi & Village industries products. Also, it was the need of the hour for all the Khadi Institutions who were struggling for their survival.

• With the support of the Department of Industries, Govt. of Bihar, Bihar State Khadi & Village Industries Board started a new venture in the form of Khadi mall which is the first ever Khadi mall of India spread in 21000 sq. ft. area. This mall is developed by Infrastructure Development Authority, Govt. of Bihar.

•Khadi Mall is a modern and integrated facility to support Khadi, village industries, and the handicraft sector of Bihar and nearby areas, by providing a platform for trade enhancement, facilitation to both domestic and international buyers and carry forward the rich traditions of Khadi, village industries and handicraft sectors of Bihar region.
